HOW DOES THE FACILITY WORK ?
- Facility is completely operator assisted and chargeable for both internal and external users
- Slots are available through an Email registration platform linked to the facility calendar.
- All internal users must be certified by the facility by registering for a monthly course on Basic Fluorescence and Confocal microscopy. It is mandatory for every internal user to be certified in this course in order to access the facility.
- Training: Two day course, once every month, pre- and post-assessment tests are conducted to qualify the users.
- The training modules we have developed include, didactic lectures on introduction to basic light microscopy, fluorescence microscopy, basic confocal microscopy and introduction to superresolution platforms. Afternoon sessions are hands-on widefield fluorescence microscopes and confocal microscopes. FM conducts lectures, gives hands-on demonstrations along with the project assistants.
